By 2022, it is expected that this field will grow by 21 percent according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. To give you an idea of how much you could make as an HVAC technician, annually they make on average around $48,000 per year as of 2016.

3. Careers in the culinary and baking field

If you have always had a love for and interest in all types of food, perhaps a career in the culinary industry is just right for you. For those who have already attended culinary school, many have worked up the ranks to become head chefs or head cooks at different restaurants. In fact, there are around 129,370 head chefs and head cooks that are currently employed in the United States.

By 2024, the Bureau of Labor Statistics believes that job growth of 9 percent will occur in this field.
